WISDOM WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD
~ The Lord Is A Strong Tower ~
"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it and is safe."
Prov 18:10
When I read this scripture, it reminds me of one rainy morning I almost had a terrible accident. While I was getting ready for work, my middle daughter, which was about five years old at the time. She came into the room. I was ironing, and she said: "Mama you are going to be found on the road dead." I looked at her and began to pray for protection. After dropping her off at my mom's house, I left. I was going into this deep curve, and I lost control. I began to call on the name of Jesus. When I called Jesus name my car stopped on a dime. There stood a great big tree in front of my car. My car was at the bark of the tree. I know it was nobody but God. There was no space between the car and the tree. My car stop right at the tree. The scripture says that the name of the Lord is a strong tower. There is power in the name of Jesus. So remember to call his name. Invite him into your situation. You don't have to go through your trouble or obstacles alone. The Bible says: "The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous. His ear is open unto our cry.."Psalms 34:15. Don't fear or doubt the presence of God. God has a plan. We may find safety in many things or even in people. But make sure we run into the arms of Jesus because we are safe in his arms. He's waiting to hear from you because He is our Strong Tower.
